Under the theme “Living With Data”, the 2021 DataFest Kampala convened data enthusiasts, tech experts, academicians, journalists, creatives, and other multi-demographic participants, to take part in realistic discussions under the subject. The conversations centered on the role that data plays in the different dimensions of our everyday lives. The two-day festival was jam-packed with inspirational sharing sessions, hands-on workshops, and engaging panel discussions. A multitude of topics revolving on the subject of Big Data and it’s share in the conversation for the future, were expounded on and among them included; data security, data collection, data analysis, visualization and machine learning as well as artificial intelligence.
