At the 2022 Internet Governance Forum, Pollicy had a productive and thought-provoking discussion on the emerging field of Afro-Feminist AI Governance. As AI technologies become increasingly embedded in everyday life, and especially in the Global South, there is a need to ensure that these technologies are designed, deployed and managed in a way that is respectful of the rights, experiences and perspectives of African women and girls.
